It took me two years to get the above shot, but that’s only because I “harvest” my compost every two years because it takes that long to rot stuff in a dry climate like we have in New Mexico. Don’t be put off my some of the larger chunks in this photo–they aerate the soil and keep it from packing. And remember, this stuff will be well mixed with existing garden soil used for years.
