I just discovered this book, which is published by Timber Press, the publisher of my latest book, The Field Guide to Peppers. Interestingly enough, I have grown several of these plants when I was younger and lived in Virginia, where because of the humidity, it is possible to grow air plants (Tillandsia) and Venus Flytraps (Dionaea). Those won’t grow here in the desert, but two other ones I have selected to grow on the front patio this year when it warms up are pictured below. It will be fun to have these weird blooms greeting guests.
