Our 30th National Fiery Foods & BBQ Show was a huge success! I won’t have final attendance figures for a couple of days, but it looked like a record crowd to me. Our 31st show will be held March 1-3, 2019 at the same location, Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque.
This coming weekend, March 10-11, I’ll be one of the featured authors at the Tucson Festival of Books, which is a gigantic outdoor event on the campus of the University of Arizona.
The festival is organized around approximately 360 author presentations. These presentations take place on the University of Arizona campus in venues ranging from small classrooms to large auditoriums. There are presentations of all types including Young Adults, Fiction, Non-Fiction, History, Cookbooks, Science and many more. Hundreds of authors have graced stages at the Festival since 2009. The list is impressive and shows the breadth and depth of Festival offerings. The Festival is grateful to the many authors and publishers who are part of the Festival Family!
Food Courts
Each year about 30 food vendors set up shop in the food courts offering Festival goers an opportunity to sample culinary delights from Tucson’s local restaurants.
Exhibitors
There are more than 200 vendor booths with authors, booksellers, artists, non-profits and many more showcasing their latest offerings.
