Our 31st edition of the National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show opens at 4pm Friday at Sandia Resort and Casino. Nearly 200 exhibitors will give tastings and sell about 1,000 different products in 60 different categories, from hot sauce to spicy snacks to gourmet offerings to beyond. Additionally, the great folks at Disc-It will present continuous outdoor cooking and smoking demonstrations on the Eagle Room patio from noon on Saturday and Sunday. Chef Mike White of the High Point Grill, the New Mexico Restaurant Association’s 2018 Chef of the Year, will present four 505 Food Fights in the Eagle Room featuring nine New Mexico chefs battling it out to support The Kitchen Kids. Admission to the Food Fights is a $10 charitable donation.
