Mark Santiago, director of the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, came by the house yesterday with a present for me–a bench commemorating my long service on the museum’s Board of Directors. The Southwest-style bench will reside in our living room, where I will charge visitors $5 to sit on it–just kidding. Here is the plaque on the bench:
