Janie Lamson, owner of Cross Country Nurseries and ChilePlants.com, and I have teamed up to produce the first field guide to chile peppers, which seems to be scheduled for a late December launch, which seems a bit late to us. Hopefully, production and printing will move forward quickly enough to move the publication date up to some date in November. Full color books like this and usually printed in China or Singapore, so it’s the long boat ride of the printed books to the U.S. that takes up a lot of time. There are 400 varieties, each with a color photo, growing information, and a heat level. Soon, you will be able to pre-order it here on Amazon.
