Every year I love to experiment with varieties of edible and ornamental plants in my various gardens in our yard. Today I planted three of them. Above, a Gloriosa lily. This is a vine that grows up a support like a trellis by way of hooks on the petals of the spectacular flowers. It is a tropical plant, so i’m growing it in a pot so I can winter it over in the greenhouse.
These will be the result of planting two Indigo Rose tomatoes. This is a hybrid that I’ve never grown before. I’m getting hungry already.
This Bumble Bee primrose is going into a large pot on our front patio. Hopefully it will fill the pot and jolt the eyeballs.
