This is a pretty and charming summer bird: Audubon’s Yellow-Rumped Warbler. It’s instantly recognizable because of its–what else?–yellow rump and white wing bars. It lives on caterpillars, wasps, grasshoppers and other insects, as well as the berries of juniper, wax myrtle, and even poison ivy.
